Hartford Seminary receives grant
luce foundation awards grant
Hartford Seminary has received a $232,500 four-year grant from the Henry Luce Foundation for a professorship in contemporary Islam that will augment the Seminary’s program in Islamic Studies and Christian-Muslim Relations.

This special course from September 13 to September 15 provides students with a broad spectrum of the basic skills needed to begin an effective ministry of Christian Education in the local church.
Starting September 14: God's Word in Greek
Reading the gospel of matthew
This workshop will conduct monthly translation sessions of selected texts from the New Testament, this term continuing the reading of “The Gospel of Matthew.” Participants will be encouraged to fine tune their New Testament Greek reading skills as well as explore the readings in light of their faith understanding.
