THE
ANNUAL FUND
Hartford Seminary’s Annual Fund, which runs during the July 1 to June 30 fiscal year, is the mainstay of the Seminary’s fundraising efforts. Gifts to the Annual Fund are unrestricted gifts that are used to support Seminary-wide general operating expenses associated with all of the following programs:
Black Ministries Program
The Center for Faith in Practice
Degree Programs
Duncan Black Macdonald Center for the Study
of Islam and Christian Muslim Relations
Educational Outreach Events
Hartford Institute for Religion Research
Hispanic Ministries Program
Library
Student Aid
Women’s Leadership Institute
Securing the future… that is what Annual Fund gifts, in essence, do for Hartford Seminary. Gifts to the Annual Fund help pay for the less glamorous, but most critical expenses that we incur. The electricity that lights the buildings, heating and air conditioning, repairs to facilities, security, lawn care and snow removal, the gap between tuition and what an education here actually costs, technology, paper towels and soap, and much more. Gifts to the Annual Fund support every single program that we offer, directly and indirectly.
Thank you for considering a gift to the 2009-2010 Annual Fund!
