The Nature of Theological Education
The Seminary's President Heidi Hadsell, offered a stimulating reflection entitled "The Nature of Theological Education: Past, Present and Future."
Following her talk there was a panel presentation, where we were honored by the presence of several of our past presidents, Barbara Brown Zikmund, Michael R. Rion, Jackson W. Carroll, and James N. Gettemy, for a discussion on "then, now and next: how theological education addresses the needs and issues of our time."
A question and answer session with the audience revealed the grandson of an earlier president of the seminary was also in attendance. The discussion continued over desserts following the panel presentation.
