The purpose of this course is to assist clergy and faith-based counselors to consider and discern the profound issues facing victims of crime. It is also to provide preparation for clergy and faith-based counselors to intervene and assist victims of crime toward recovery with compassion, understanding, theological reflection, and ethical and legal correctness.
